That's Honoree your Honor

I had a family tell me an interesting story when I asked them how in the world their father ended up with they name "Honor" as a first name.  They told me that when he was born they didn't file the Birth Certificate right away.  By the time they got around to actually filing with the county the little tike had proven himself a handful, his father had written down the name Honoray Bates in the family bible and when they transferred it at the county it came out 'Honor Ray Bates'.

Although he remained honoree his whole life he decided not to fight the name game and kept the name Honor!

He passed away today at 71 years old after a long fight with cancer, his family said he was Honoree all the way to the end.  Farewell Honor, your family shows that you've left this world with dignity and honor, no pun intended (well maybe a little).
