Too many thoughts in my head

Last month I finished writing my first novel. A quickly thrown together collection of words that I wrote for the nanowrimo.com competition, and is certainly nothing much to brag about, still I am very proud of the accomplishment. This month I'm feeling anxious and unsettled. Work is tiresome and much of an extreme burden in an of itself, maybe there's too little going on and my mind is searching for something challenging, I don't know. In any case during this frustration, as it always seems to, reflection has crept out. During a lengthy conversation with a wonderful woman who just recently was widowed by her second adventursome husband I heard tell of great adventures the world abroad and a settled tone in her voice knowing that she was done with such ideas. In my life thus far I've been granted the ability to take many of my own adventures, not as broad and elaborate as hers as of yet but there is time. A brief recount I believe is in order and as I look at them I must say that my job was a significant benefactor to the list:

1997 Tyax Lake Canada SCI Sales Manager fishing trip
1998 Driving trip up the coast of CA in the wake of loosing our daughter Madison (Memorable as both and in and of itself)
1998 Sonora Canada SCI SAles Manager fishing trip
2001 Atlantis Bahamas
2002? Montana Trip
2004 Disney World Cruise through the Bahamas
2006 Trip with my Dad from CA to AR then meet up with Kari in NM and Drive back
2008 Road Trip from Buffalo NY to CA VIA family in AR
2009 Mission discovery driving trip for Jacob's school up the coast of CA

Some of these trips are chronicled in the Archives here and other's are scattered photograph memories in some old file somewhere. It's been wonderful for me to see these places and has only tempted my pallet for more.
